Jeow Bong (also referred to as Jaew bong) has been a Laotian household staple for many generations. Originating from Luang Prabang, Laos it is favored amongst many Laotians and a must-have for Lao meals. Traditionally, Jeow Bong incorporates strips of buffalo skin and is accompanied by fresh steamed Sticky Rice for dipping alongside your favorite bbq meat and veggies. Its popularity among many spicy condiment enthusiasts continues to grow internationally. You can find our fresh take on this delicious “Jeow” without the added protein while still preserving the true essence of this ancient spicy condiment.

Chef Nokie is the founder of Laovin It a catering & food truck company in Nashville, Tennessee and South Ahan restaurant in Columbia, Tennessee developed the popular chili paste with the original recipe passed down from her mother.
